week 2

This week we worked at the garden. We cleaned all around the garden and grounded up the soil. Later on in the week we made soil beds and paths around the beds. Then we planted the vegetables . Then we planned out some EAE (environment awareness event) act ivies and printed off some coloring sheets and work sheets.
We had a meeting with the Department of Health and Social Development to do radio shows and environmental awareness events together.
We were going to do a radio show but it got cancelled till another day.
We went to have a EAE but attendance was low so we held it off for another day.
Over all I think it was a good week.

  1. We had a very productive week even though a few of our people were absent during the time. We began with the community garden and we had it finished by the end of the week. Also being a good experience working outside and helping the envirnment. We lacked attendance on the EAE's but that just proves the word is not out yet, so we will get the word out this week.
We also have all of our people this week meaning we can work a lot harder and a lot faster.

  2. Although I was MIA for last week I had the opportunity to see what our team accomplished. The Garden looks great and I cant wait to see what is going to come out of it.
The Team is looking forward to working more with the community and it looks like interest is peaking in our environmental awareness events so I'm really looking forward to participating in this weeks events. I think we're putting alot of effort and planning into this one so im hopeful for our group.
