Corner Book Training
What I learned in green team training camp out Corner Brook was that the school out New Brunswick is surround by dangerous plants that pollutes the air around the school. I was also taught about good energy saving tips. I came back to the green team I was employed last year So I already learned a lot. It was a great experience and I met a lot of great new people.

During training camp in Corner Brook, I have learnt First Aid and also alot about climate change and global warming. I have already knew about some of the effects of global warming but the presentations I've seen has opened my eyes again to the serious effects of global warming that has happened and are happening to the Earth.
ReplyDeleteDuring my time out Corner Brook, I have learned a lot about climate change and conservation. Learning how to use each of these can help save our climate and our world. If we do nt start cleaning up the planet now, then the consiquences can be catastrophic so help the earth now!!!
ReplyDeleteTraining Camp was a good opportunity to become familiar with what green teams can accomplish and in the larger scale whats going on globally with climate change.
ReplyDeleteI already had an idea of things we could do to be more environmentally friendly but it really helped to put it into a real context of our everyday responsibilities.
I think it really became apparent to everyone when we got to see the presentation on climate change. it was kind of eye opening to know that the information (for the time line) we were given a few years ago for the environmental worse case senerio has been sped up from 2025 to 2015.
it was sad to se how fast the ice caps and glaciers are melting and how its going to impact things in this region. Really I think this part was the most interesting.
Also, it was neat to see the type of things we could be doing in our community to help reduce the load of electricity we use and the ways we can off set our carbon foot prints.
